In this episode of The Shadow Phoenix Saga, Bas finds himself exhausted and injured after a violent fight. Seeking solace in the oath of the mariner, he's suddenly entranced by a melancholic melody coming from the moon. Driven by his curiosity, Bas ascends to the deck of the ship and is enveloped by a silver light emanating from the celestial body. The ship is then surrounded by a soft blue light, and the water begins to bubble and boil around them.
As Bas tries to grasp for something to hold onto, he reaches out to Jade, but the silver light takes hold of him, and he begins to float upwards into the sky. As he's transported away, Bas is filled with the ecstasy of the experience and contemplates his family who perished in a pirate attack.
The stunning sight of stellar cloud rays dancing around him fuels his imagination, but he can't help but wonder if he'll ever return to his ship. This episode delves deep into the magic, mystery, and mysticism of The Shadow Phoenix Saga, as Bas is whisked away on a journey unlike any other.
