- Armuchee had an unscheduled open week due to the tragic passing of student-athlete David Clemones.
- Despite tough losses to Fannin County & Whitefield Academy respectively, Coosa & Darlington are getting promising production from freshman running backs Jaylon Hazzard (Coosa) & Matias Selle (Darlington).
- Rome won its 2nd straight game, and 1st region game, with a 31-14 win over East Paulding.
- Unity Christian remains impressive, and undefeated, with a 52-3 win over Fideles Christian.
