    Key Takeaways from this episode:

    • Absolutely loved the passion and conviction that Coach Jones has for this profession and helping others, whether athletes or coaches.
    • The term “teach tape technique”, in reference to being intentional and demanding when it comes to teaching technique and holding athletes accountable. Using a technique rating system is a great ideal and could determine when an athlete progress in complexity of movements.
    • Coach Jones discusses the 4 things he looks for when hiring coaches.
    • Discussion of the power complex and thoughts on Olympic lifts and Squats.

    Recommended books by Coach Jones:

    Arete, by Brian Johnson
