  • The Book of II Kings: Decline, Exile, and God’s Faithfulness
    Sep 16 2025

The Book of Second Kings is a story of both warning and hope. If First Kings showed the glory of Solomon’s temple and the division of the nation, Second Kings tells what happened next. It traces the slow decline of Israel in the north and Judah in the south, leading finally to exile.

But it’s not just about history. Second Kings is about choices, consequences, and God’s unshakable faithfulness. Even when His people fail, God remains true to His word.

  • The Book of I Kings: From Solomon’s Wisdom to a Nation Divided
    Sep 15 2025

The Book of First Kings is one of the most dramatic books in the Old Testament. It begins with the height of Israel’s glory under Solomon—wisdom, wealth, and the temple of God standing in Jerusalem. But by the end of the book, the kingdom is torn apart, idolatry spreads, and prophets cry out against corruption.

This is a book about leadership, worship, and choices. It asks a question that is just as urgent today as it was then: Who will we serve?

  • The Book of II Samuel: Triumphs, Tragedies, and God’s Promise
    Sep 15 2025

The Book of Second Samuel is one of the most powerful stories in the Old Testament. If First Samuel was about transition—from judges to kings, from Samuel to Saul to David—then Second Samuel is about reign and responsibility. This is David’s book. It records his rise as king, his victories, his failures, and God’s incredible promise to him.

It’s inspiring, but it’s also sobering. We see David at his best—trusting God, leading the nation, worshiping with joy. But we also see him at his worst—sinning, failing his family, and reaping the consequences. Through it all, God’s faithfulness shines.
