  • Senior To Seniors - How To Have A Happy Birthday with Tamar Hurwitz-Fleming
    Aug 2 2025
Author Tamar Hurwitz-Fleming was born January 9, 1966, and grew up experiencing happy birthdays, disappointing birthdays, and downright terrible birthdays until she turned twenty and realized making her birthday happy was entirely up to her.
With each following year, Tamar started paying close attention to her energy as her birthday approached and how various factors—whether under her control or not—impacted her birthday experience. She noted those observations and put them to work in the following years, so that each January 9 thereafter she was able to successfully put herself at the center of her day and experience deep fulfillment.
Tamar wrote this book to help people find deeper meaning and happiness on their birthdays too. Tamar is an artist, astrologer, and award-winning environmental educator who has worked internationally and presented to more than 350,000 people, inspiring and motivating them to make positive behavior change on behalf of the greater good.
I respectfully purchased the book, interviewed Author Tamar Hurwitz-Fleming, and dropped this podcast in honor of my sister, Joann Mazziotti Gray, on her birthday weekend. She passed away one-year ago of glioblastoma. I miss her. I love her forever.
Tamar's website is fantastic and provides so many FREE tools. She is also available for one-on-one consultations.

  • Senior To Seniors Podcast with DAVID BEDFORD - - THE BEATLES
    Jul 15 2025
On this Senior To Seniors Podcast we have an exceptional guest whose life story is deeply intertwined with one of the most beloved musical groups in history—The Beatles. Joining us is David Bradford, a true Liverpudlian who grew up in the Dingle area, just a stone's throw away from where Ringo Starr was born.
For many of our senior listeners, The Beatles were not just a band; they were the soundtrack of their youth, shaping their lives, cultures, and memories. David brings a unique perspective on this iconic group, having authored several influential books like 'Liddypool: Birthplace of The Beatles' and 'The Fab One Hundred and Four: The Evolution of The Beatles.' He has dedicated his career to uncovering the stories behind the music that defined a generation, making him a wonderful resource for those wishing to reminisce about the good old days or learn more about their favorite artists.
What’s more, David doesn't just write about The Beatles; he actively engages with their legacy as part of John Lennon’s Original Quarrymen, performing in Liverpool and beyond. His connection to the past resonates with so many of us, especially as we reflect on how music can evoke emotions and memories.
As the chair of governors at Dovedale School, where John Lennon and George Harrison once attended, David also plays a vital role in passing down this rich cultural history to younger generations. He reminds us all of the importance of community, creativity, and shared experiences.
So, whether you have fond memories of dancing to their hits or simply appreciate the impact they've had on our culture, today’s conversation is sure to resonate with you. Please join me for this entertaining show!
