(emphasis) But….. Camp Hero, which is a decommissioned military base located in Montauk, New York, is thought by many to have been the site of government-sanctioned human experiments comparable to the atrocities committed by the Nazis in concentration camps during World War II. (yikes…)

If you’re thinking that kidnapping, telepathy experiments, and portals to other times and dimensions sound more like the plot of a movie or TV show than reality, you’re not wrong.....cue Stranger Things theme song....

Moosham castle is located in Austria, Unternberg, Salzburg to be specific… I didn’t find a ton of information but what I did find is WILD, the two best places I found my information from were little house of horrors dot com and dark tourist dot com.

It is a medieval castle, it is located on a high point (3,540 ft), overlooking the entire area. This was done for defense purposes. The castle was involved in at least 45 bloody battles.

It’s also synonymous with the most horrible witch hunts in European history, a werewolf (question mark), and of course, ghosts.

The Gray Man is a ghost reportedly seen on the coast of Pawleys Island, South Carolina that warns residents of coming severe storms and hurricanes. Although there are many variations of the legend, most say the Gray Man was first seen in 1822, three years before the town government was incorporated. The last reported sighting was just before Hurricane Florence hit in 2018 and previously just before Hurricane Hugo hit the area in 1989.

Legend holds that the Gray Man is the ghost of a young man traveling from Charleston to see his fiancée in 1822. On the way, he and his horse were caught in quicksand-like pluff mud in the marshes before Pawleys Island, and died. His spirit has haunted the shore nearby ever since, looking for the girl he loved.

Paul Michael Stephani was an American serial killer. He was also known as the Weepy-Voiced Killer due to a series of telephone calls he made to police, anonymously reporting his crimes in a remorseful and high-pitched voice. Stephani killed three women in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area.

June and Jennifer Gibbons are twins from the only Black family in a small town in Wales in the 1970s and '80s. After a spree of vandalism, the girls are sentenced to Broadmoor, an infamous psychiatric hospital, where they face the choice to separate and survive or die together.

Over the course of three months in 1695, a number of farms and residences around the Ring-Croft of Stocking at Auchencairn were reportedly tormented by a malevolent spirit. Later referred to as a poltergeist, the violent apparition is said to have thrown stones at occupants, set buildings ablaze and attacked and dragged family members. The incidents were recorded in an explicit and highly-detailed eyewitness account left by local minister Alexander Telfair, who served the parish of Rerrick.
