À propos de cet audio
In the wake of America’s bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, too many partisans and ideologues have broadcast misplaced objections—saying it was imprudent, didn’t comport with our (or their) foreign policy, and was unconstitutional.
Such malcontents don’t need a gut-check, they need a morality check …and a fact-check. The same Democrats who say this violated war powers, cheered when Presidents Obama and Biden fired missiles and dropped bombs in other countries without congressional approval. Moreover, nothing in the War Powers Act (which may not be constitutional) was violated. The President notified Congress, and he hasn’t had to comply with a withdrawal order from Congress because our B2s already withdrew via U-turn after completing their incredible mission.
The U.S. just broke the sword of a regime at war with America for over 46 years, a regime that has committed the worst acts of terrorism against thousands of Americans, and on the cusp of a nuclear weapon that even its ally, Russia, verified--a regime that has attempted to assassinate our President. This was a pacification mission that should be universally applauded, not denigrated.
