À propos de cet audio
SheBreathes Soul Stories – Ep. 33 “Sugar, Strength, and Starting Over” with Katie Svoboda-Rini of Sweet.Skills Workshops.
This week’s episode is a beautiful blend of grit, grief, and growth.
I’m joined by Katie Svoboda Rini—Pastry Chef, Educator, Occasional Sugar Snob, and Perpetual Christmas Elf—who shares her powerful story of resilience and healing through creativity.
Raised in a turbulent environment, moving between Alaska and California she became a caretaker for her terminally ill mother at just 16. Grew up with deep body shame and limiting beliefs and a poor relationship with food that told her she wasn’t enough
And yet—she found her way back to joy, through sugar, self-compassion, and creative soul work.
Katie’s journey is one of reclaiming her voice, her body, and her power through baking. Now she helps others reconnect with their creativity and confidence in the kitchen.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll be reminded that healing can be something to savor.
