  • @arunanandarao | What does being your true authentic self mean to you?

"As Ramana Maharshi says, know who you are. The answer is within. Authenticity begins when I pass asking the world who should I be? And start asking inwardly, who am I really? The truth is a pathless land. Being authentic is to walk without imitation. It is to observe my mind without judgment. To be free not only from others expectations, but from the conditioning of my own past. Don't try to be special, just be real."

"And as I talk about this, I don't want to offend people or make you feel like I don't. I'm not with you on the decision or, you know, it's okay if you disagree with me. You know, this is what these platforms are for, is to just have conversations and talk about real life. And so it's okay if you don't dis. You know, if you disagree with me or agree with me, it's all good either way."

"So if you come in the house or something and you're like, really hungry, maybe you haven't eaten for quite a while, and you're just kind of losing energy. It's just a quick, simple way that you can have something that doesn't take a lot of effort to make and. And it'll give you, you know, the cheese is giving you a little protein. And when you combine chi, a Dairy product. With a carb you get incomplete protein."

"Yeah. I'm not even gonna proclaim them as some sort of healthy health food. You should have this in your cabinet type of snack. I won't claim that. I will not. But yes, when I'm looking for a quick go to snack, something to eat while I'm watching TV or at work, I'm reaching for the cheeses."

"My two favorite subjects in high school was writing. It's the only writing. English was the only course I ever got. I took advanced anything or honors anything in. And then orchestra. I played in the orchestra. Played in the orchestra from fourth grade through the end of high school. Fourth and fifth grade. Fourth grade. But, yeah. And it's funny, I became a math teacher because, you know, I really don't remember anything from math classes at all. At all."

"So I'm a certified nerd. So let me just tell you that I actually loved every subject in high school, but I really love math. And actually, if I could get a little more specific, I went to a technical high school. And in this particular high school, we had a trade, and we also had regular academics for my trade, which was industrial electronics. We had a lot of math, a lot of high level math."
