À propos de cet audio
Would you agree that it’s becoming more challenging to faithfully follow Jesus in a culture constantly pulling us away? More and more, it feels like our world is growing hostile toward the values we hold in God’s Word. So the question is: How do we, as followers of Jesus, stand firm in today’s world? How do we remain strong in our faith while still loving well?
Over the next four weeks, we’ll be exploring what it means to stand firm as we walk through the Old Testament book of Daniel. This episode, Pastor Jeff Moes begin with “Living for Jesus in a Culture of Compromise” from Daniel 1. We’ll see how four young teenagers were forced to live in Babylon but refused to let Babylon live in them. If Daniel and his friends could live in the world but not be of the world, then we can too!
At the end of this episode, we will be partaking in communion. At Sunnybrook Community Church we encourage all who know Jesus as their savior to partake. If able, we encourage you to use crackers or bread and juice or wine in remembrance of the Lord's body and blood.
