À propos de cet audio
In this episode, I sit down with Tall Mark, musical artist and performer, to talk about his show Eat It Anyway, presenting at the 13th annual Fundy Fringe Festival in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Tall Mark describes the show as a “bard jester” autobiography told through non-fiction absurd realism—blending satire, compassion, and musical storytelling. It’s a joyful, goofy, and unexpectedly profound solo piece filled with original songs, audience interaction, and a message about saying yes to life.
We talk about the philosophy behind the show, his improv-based approach to dissolving the fourth wall, and how humor can serve as a tool for healing. We also get into themes like capitalism, healthcare, and existential dread, along with previews of songs like “$100 Hot Dog” and “Be Kind.”
Eat It Anyway runs at the Haven Music Hall during Fundy Fringe:
Tues 8:00 PM
Wed 10:30 PM
Thurs 5:00 PM
Fri 6:30 PM
Sat 8:00 PM
