Hello Everybody! Welcome back to The Ginger Bread Man

I give an update on my new Kitten and use this as an introductory note to discuss objectification of the things we love, wither that be our kittens or our significant other. Finally I discuss some of the ideas of one of my favorite thinker's "Jiddu Krishnamurti" followed by an excerpt from his writings. I do hope you enjoy!

  • 136: A New Discussion: The Present Condition of 7oh-Mitragynine in the USA
    Aug 17 2025
    Hello my friends!

This week I would like to discuss addiction in the context of Opiate Addiction. I am choosing to be vulnerable and share some of my personal experiences with dangerous opiates like Heroin and how the use of botanicals like Kratom Leaf changed my life in terms of the functionality of my habits and current needs. Why do people seek these things out, and have done so for centuries? Is sobriety the only option for society?

I do believe Kratom's Alkaloids(Mitragynine, Payantheinine, Speciogynine, and 7oh-Mitragynine) have an addictive nature. Like all things there is a spectrum of being and many will tell you Kratom is a far safer alternative to the pharmaceutical options available, including the ones for recovery like suboxone and methadone. Now with the introduction of the most Potent Kratom Alkaloid, 7oh-Mitragynine, and the impending Ban and Scheduling of the substance; what will become of the millions of people utilizing 7oh to abstain from far more dangerous options? Does this loom far more negative attention on the kratom leaf as a whole? This would effect millions.

I really aim to be neutral here. There is no black and white. This story and the subtext behind the decisions administratively and legislatively being made really paint a picture of the Present Condition of the United States of America as well. It is never simple.

Thankyou so much for being here, I will be forever grateful for you attention and ears. If you would like to discuss anything please email me at thegingerbreadmansdialogues@gmail.com! Have a wonderful day!

  • 135: Interview with Jay: Volume 2
    Jul 27 2025
    Hello my Friends!

Todays episode is rather special. I haven't done this in a while, having a friend on that is. We had Jay on the show a few years back, he was wearing a turqoise jumpsuit and an animal on his head. Wild Guy, I am very grateful to know him. And this is a First, because I have never had anyone back on a second time.

We discuss Reality, and Feelings, and Purpose, and Much, Much, More. I hope you enjoy! I know I did

You can email me at anytime at thegingerbreadmansdialogues@gmail.com about absolutely anything! Even if you are having a bad day!

  • 134: Is our Technology Real?
    Jul 12 2025
    Hello My Friends!
I hope you are doing well, I am so grateful for you showing up this week!

On this episode I will be discussing what is Real. This time(old topic) through the lense of our Technology. Of course there are some glaringly obvious Modern Technologies that can be of concern. Yet I argue that our words, and our thoughtful words as well, are the base technology that we use to symbolize, and therefor separate, from the World. Yet we are The World, are we not?

My second tool to depict our use of Technology in the world is the most abstract one that we have to date: the String Theory explanation of Quantum physics. One of my favorite topics, though I absolutely do not claim to understand it well.. I am an armchair philosopher not a Rocket Scientist.

Lastly I share some of the James Legge translation of the Tao Te Ching, a very archaic and beautiful one.

You can email me about absolutely anything at thegingerbreadmansdialogues@gmail.com I hope to see you there!

  • 133: Important Lessons found in Losing Kitties
    Jun 28 2025
Hello My Friends! Welcome to my Home!

This week has been a rollercoaster, I swear I have felt literally every emotion. As always, these are Important Lesson in disguise. What are the connections between Loss and Death, does all Grief have a common backbone. This week I lost one of my best friends, my Kitty Shefu, but I found her! So no sad endings, but I learned alot from the mental process that that involves. I am very grateful to have her back.

We also discuss how Tedium and Boredom in work can be a crucial opportunity for practicing attention. And why I like SMALL amounts of serotenergic drugs, such as psilocybin and LSD, as a Focus and Work Aid. Focus connotating Attention, and a better frame of reference to watch our thoughts.

At the end I share an AMAZING section from David Gurdjieff's book 'Spiritual Realism' on breath-counting techniques, a Ubiquitous practice crossing almost every spiritual, mystic, and religious path.

I will be forevor grateful for your time and attention! I hope you have a wonderful Week!

    Hi There Friendo!
