We speak about how it has disrupted social connections and driving a wedge between people across a digital divide. We talk about it's benefit in terms community buiding, information sharing and democratising opportunities. It's role in shaping relationships and communication. We touch on it's deleterious effects on attention span and cognitive abilities. We advocate for responsible use of social media as well as some form of regulation to curb some of the negative impacts including cyber bullying and online harassment. To turn the tide, we encourage people to join physical communities of like minded people and essentially touching grass.
