À propos de cet audio

On this Thursday before the Fourth of July, we’re here to do something rare. Connor and Mitch praise the NCAA for how it has handled a roster overflow at the start of the revenue-sharing era. No later than Sunday, every football program with more than 105 players on its roster must submit a list of designated student-athletes to the NCAA.

The players assigned a DSA label won’t count toward the roster limit, no matter where they play. All of this could have created a minor mess in the middle of summer. But it won’t. Because of a decision made by a committee within the much-maligned collegiate governing body. How does it work, and why does it matter for Matt Rhule and the Huskers? We explain.

Also, is Omaha North DB Darion Jones set to disappoint Nebraska fans? We discuss the state of in-state recruiting. We have a Red Panda update. And we assess the remaining needs for Nebraska in the 2026 recruiting class.
