  • Ep.102- The Power of Repitition
    Sep 10 2025
The Power of Repetition: How One Call Sparked a Movement for Women in Business Welcome back, friends. I’m Lisa Resnick, founder of Dandelion-Inc and host of The Seed podcast. If you’ve ever rolled your eyes at advice you’ve heard a hundred times—only to have it hit differently one day—you’re not alone. This blog is your reminder that repetition is your best teacher, and sometimes, the moment that changes everything isn’t when you learn something new, but when you finally act on something familiar. Repetition Isn’t Lazy—It’s Foundational Let’s be honest. You’ve probably been to the same types of conferences, read similar business books, and listened to countless podcasts (mine included!). But have you ever noticed that one day—out of nowhere—the same message you’ve heard before finally clicks? I’ve had that moment. Many times, actually. In my early real estate days, I attended Tom Ferry events where the music blasted, the notebooks filled up, and most of what was shared? Not new. But those lessons—build your sphere, your calendar is your boss, consistency creates confidence—they hit different depending on the season I was in. Familiar wisdom. New context. Deeper growth. From Familiar Phrases to Life-Changing Clarity Later, I found myself in rooms filled with women founders and creators—from The Luminary in NYC to the Female Founder Collective. And again, it wasn’t the new that sparked something in me—it was the realness, the vulnerability, the shared energy. Then came the phone call that changed everything. The Call That Sparked Women Rising Founders of Lehner Shope Wealth Group and Dandelion-Inc. Co-Founders of Women Rising. Amy Shope, a longtime Dandelion-Inc member and brilliant businesswoman, called me one day out of the blue. She said, “Lisa, I’ve been thinking about creating something for women—not just another event, but something deeper. Something grounding. Real. And I want to build it with you.” And just like that, Women Rising was born. Not because we had some groundbreaking new idea, but because we finally moved with something we had known for years: women rise stronger together. You Don’t Need More Info—You Need to Say Yes Here’s what I want you to take from this: If you’re in a season where nothing feels new, it doesn’t mean you’ve stopped growing. It might mean you’re finally ready to build with what you already know. And that’s powerful. Rewatch the webinar. Revisit the podcast episode. Go to that event—even if you think you’ve heard it all before. Because repetition is how we strengthen our foundation, align with clarity, and take action from a place of grounded power—not panic. 🔗 Want to rise with us? Join us at the Women Rising Event Summit — designed not to bombard you with more noise, but to anchor you in your brilliance. This is your invitation to sit in the room, be seen, and move forward. 💌 Stay Connected If this message hit home, tag me on social @dandelionincllc. And don’t forget to subscribe to The Seed podcast, where we keep planting what matters most: truth, connection, and growth. Final Thought You don’t always need the next big thing. You need the right thing to land—at the right time. And when it does, like it did for me, it can change everything. Until next time—keep planting those seeds. ✨ Listen to the full episode on The Seed Podcast, and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share. • Ep.101- Simple Framework for Strategic Q4 Planning
    Sep 3 2025
How to Plan Q4 Like a Legacy Builder, Not a Burnout Survivor “October is coming fast… and if you wait until then to plan Q4, you're already behind.” Yep, I said it. And it’s not meant to scare you—it’s meant to motivate you. Because today, on The Seed, we tackled something that often feels like a mad dash to the finish line: planning the last quarter of the year. But this time? We’re doing it with strategy, clarity, and a whole lot of intention. This episode isn’t just about crossing the t’s on 2024. It’s about laying down the bricks for your 2025 vision and that 2026 dream you haven’t even said out loud yet. Because let’s be honest—if we want to grow something that lasts, we need to stop hustling like we’re disposable. We need to plan like we’re building a legacy. So, what’s the secret? It’s a framework I call SIMPLE—and yes, it actually is. Let’s break it down together: The SIMPLE Framework for Planning Q4 S – Set Your Q4 IntentionsStart here. What does success look like for you by the end of this year? Not just revenue-wise—what do you want to carry into 2025, and what do you want to leave behind? For me, it’s about consistency with Dandelion-Inc members and setting the stage for a bigger 2026 expansion. Ask yourself: what matters most? I – Identify Your Key Offers or InitiativesLess is more. Choose what you will actually promote, deliver, or host. Make sure it aligns with your energy, revenue goals, and long-term strategy. For me? I'm pushing one last webinar for Time Mastery Made Easy, using Eventbrite to connect with new people, and setting up strategic collaborations for Q1. Plus, we’re investing more time into The Girl Boss Drink Show and sponsorships for visibility. M – Map Out MilestonesDrop in those key dates: launches, events, holidays, school breaks, grant deadlines. Think backwards from where you want to end. Example: Want a Black Friday promo ready? Work back from November 25. Only focus on your big rocks right now—don’t get lost in the tiny details just yet. P – Plug in Your PartnershipsThis season gets loud. So instead of screaming over everyone, share the mic. Find collaborators whose audiences align with yours. I love seeing meaningful pairings, like The Skin Suite Spa partnering with Project MKC for purposeful fundraising. Think: joint webinars, bundles, podcast swaps, or giving campaigns. Let’s grow together. L – Lock in Your Support SystemYou can't do it all. Period. What can you automate? Who can you lean on? What can you batch? I live by weekly resets, templated follow-ups, and realistic capacity limits. It’s not just about surviving Q4—it’s about entering 2026 without dragging burnout along for the ride. E – Evaluate and Adjust MonthlySet 15-minute check-ins every four weeks. Ask: What’s working? What’s draining? What small win can I celebrate? This keeps you clear, grounded, and moving forward. Because clarity now creates momentum later. This Isn’t Just a Quarter—It’s Your Springboard Whether your 2026 vision includes hiring a team, expanding into new markets, or scaling your mission globally, it starts now. What you prioritize in these next 90 days will shape the next three years. Don’t wait. Write your SIMPLE plan down—on a sticky note, in your planner, or your Notion board—and take a picture. Tag me on Instagram @DandelionInc.LLC or email it. I’d love to celebrate your clarity with you. Need help mapping out your Q4 strategy? I’ve got you. DM me or join my upcoming live strategy session. Let’s do this together. Because you’re not just building Q4.You’re building your legacy. Let’s get to work. 💛 Want More Support?✨ Book 30 Minutes Free with me.✨ Subscribe to The Seed Podcast wherever you listen.✨ Share this episode with a fellow woman in business—you never know who needs to hear it. ✨ Listen to the full episode on The Seed Podcast, and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share.

  • Ep.100-Human Design for Business Success with Mel McSherry
    Aug 27 2025
Discover Your True Self: Exploring Human Design with Mel McSherry If you've ever asked yourself, "Why doesn’t this work for me when it worked for everyone else?"—you’re not alone. That very question was the catalyst behind one of our most soul-shifting podcast episodes yet. In this week’s episode of The Seed Podcast—"Human Design for Business Success with Mel McSherry"—we deep dive into the concept of Human Design and how understanding your unique blueprint can completely transform how you do life and business. Meet Mel McSherry Mel is a business coach, human design practitioner, speaker, and unapologetic advocate for creating success on your own terms. With a background in fitness and entrepreneurship dating back to 2010, Mel’s journey was one many of us know well: doing all the “right” things, hitting all the external success markers, and still feeling completely disconnected from herself. And then she found human design—or rather, it found her. What is Human Design? Human Design is a blend of ancient and modern sciences: astrology, the chakra system, Kabbalah, I Ching, and quantum physics. It maps out your energetic blueprint based on your birth time, date, and location to show you how you're wired to operate in the world. In Mel’s words, it’s not about changing who you are—it’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be. Why It Matters for Entrepreneurs Let’s face it: traditional business coaching often pushes a “one-size-fits-all” formula. But if that formula doesn’t align with how you're energetically built, it can lead to burnout, disconnection, and second-guessing your worth. Mel and I get raw about those moments of self-doubt, the Kool-Aid of hustle culture, and how she reclaimed her sense of purpose through human design. It’s not just about personality traits—it’s about building a life and business that sustains your energy, not drains it. Types of Human Design (High-Level):There are five core energy types: Generator – The builders and doers. You thrive with structure and satisfaction. Manifesting Generator – Multi-passionate powerhouses (hello, neurodivergent sisters!) who operate best when they pivot freely. Projector – The guides and wisdom-keepers. You’re not here to hustle—you're here to lead with clarity. Manifestor – The initiators and firestarters. You're designed to spark ideas and let others carry them through. Reflector – The rarest of all, mirrors of the collective. You need space and time to absorb and reflect the world around you. And here's the kicker: no type is better than the other. Each one offers something essential—and profitable—when you operate in alignment. Why This Podcast Episode Will Resonate With You You’re not lazy. You’re not scattered. You’re not doing it wrong. You just might be trying to follow someone else's blueprint. Mel breaks down how human design gave her the permission and power to customize her business, shift her daily routines, and build offerings that matched her natural energy. And she helps her clients do the same—without guilt, burnout, or self-doubt. • Ep.99-Selling with Strategy and Soul
    Aug 20 2025
It’s Not a Sales Slump—It’s a Shift We’re not just talking about pumpkin spice season. This time of year brings a different kind of energy. People are returning from summer’s spontaneity and stepping back into structure. Budgets tighten, priorities re-align, and buying behavior changes—not because they don’t want what you offer, but because they’re choosing smart, sustainable moves for themselves and their families. This isn’t a time to panic. It’s a time to pivot. Here’s How to Sell with Strategy This Season Let’s walk through the three key shifts you can make right now to align with your audience—and serve from a place of clarity and care. 1. Reframe Your Messaging This season isn’t about big transformations or six-month plans. It’s about now. People want to feel secure and smart in their decisions. That means your messaging should reflect stability, simplicity, and clarity. Service provider? Swap “Let’s build your visionary roadmap” for “Let’s clean up your calendar so Q4 doesn’t steamroll you.” Product-based biz? Position your goods as tools for reducing the mental load. “Your reset doesn’t need to be fancy. It just needs to work—and this will help.” Nonprofit? Speak to the season directly. “As kids go back to school, many families face rising costs. Your donation eases that burden in real ways.” Key takeaway: Speak into what’s happening now, not just what could happen someday. 2. Repackage What You Already Offer Your offer might be perfect—but the shape might need to change. Service providers: Turn your full-day intensives into 90-minute reset sessions. Add in a follow-up via Voxer or Marco Polo to stay connected. Product sellers: Bundle your best-sellers into seasonal kits (think “Fall Reset Bundle”) that solve a clear problem in one click. Nonprofits: Create time-bound campaigns (like a “Back-to-School Hygiene Kit Drive”) that show impact quickly and tangibly. Remember: People are craving small, doable wins. Give them an easy yes. 3. Adjust Your Timing & Touchpoints Fall buyers don’t want pressure. They want urgency with respect. Try “3 spots left for September resets—doors close Friday.” “Back-to-school bundle available through Sunday only.” “Help us collect 100 backpacks by September 15th.” No yelling. No flashing “BUY NOW” signs. Just calm, clear invitations to participate. Budget-Conscious Doesn’t Mean Uninterested Let’s say this together:When people hesitate, it’s not about you. It might be new school shoes, a higher grocery bill, or simply a full mental load. Meet that with flexibility—payment plans, scaled options, or bite-sized offers—and keep showing up. Don’t disappear just because someone isn’t ready yet. Leadership doesn’t stop at the sale. Your Back-to-Routine Sales Reset Checklist 🖊 Grab a pen (or save this to your notes): Reframe your messaging to highlight stability and simplicity. Repackage your offer to lower the barrier and deliver faster wins. Set short-term promos or clear start dates to create gentle urgency. Speak to budget-conscious buyers with respect and real value. Keep showing up, even for the “not yet” folks. You don’t have to fight the season—you just have to flow with it.This is a season of reentry and realignment. Of people wanting enough, not more. So meet them with enough. And trust that when you show up with heart, empathy, and strategy, the seeds you’re planting now will absolutely grow. ✨ Listen to the full episode on The Seed Podcast, and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share.Let’s keep cultivating growth and empowering women in business—together.

Structure Without Strangling Your Creativity: How I Reset My Rhythm Without Burning Out If you’re feeling the pressure of the fall season—between back-to-school chaos, business goals stacking up, and the looming end-of-year push—take a deep breath. You are not alone. This is the season when life speeds up. Schedules shift. Expectations grow. And suddenly, the flow you had over the summer feels like it’s been replaced by a full-blown sprint. I’ve been there too. That’s why this week’s episode of The Seed is all about something I come back to every single fall: Using structure as a leadership tool—without burning out or killing your creativity. • Ep.97-Authentic Branding That Lasts
    Aug 6 2025
Authentic Branding That Lasts: A Conversation with Roop Creative's Puja Malhoutra I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down again with one of my favorite branding experts and visionary women in business, Puja Malhoutra. She's the founder and CEO of Roop Creative, a strategic branding agency that’s all heart and hustle—and like many of us, she’s a proud corporate dropout who turned her side gig into a thriving business. Together, we dove into the real deal behind brand packages, rebrands, and how to ensure what you invest in actually reflects who you are—and who you’re becoming. From Corporate to Creative: Puja’s Leap of Faith Puja's journey started with a corporate career in branding—but something was missing. Nine years ago, she followed a deep knowing that small business owners deserved the same branding clarity and timeless identity as big corporations. That’s when Roop Creative was born. Instead of just focusing on colors and logos, Puja built a process rooted in self-discovery, strategy, and sustainability. She wanted entrepreneurs to walk away with something they were proud of—not confused by. What a Real Branding Package Should Include Here’s the kicker: not all branding packages are created equal. Too many entrepreneurs receive 100-page decks and still walk away asking, “But what did I just pay for?” Puja broke down what a strong brand package should include: Brand voice and tone Mission statement and messaging Visual identity: logo, colors, fonts Brand archetypes and long-term vision A discovery process that digs deep—not just what’s trendy It’s not about being trendy—it’s about being timeless. Empowering Clients at Every Stage Puja’s agency has evolved to meet clients where they are. Whether you're just starting out or ready for a full rebrand, Roop Creative offers: Semi-custom brand kits with a discovery workbook Website intensives Full done-for-you brand strategy and design Puja empowers entrepreneurs to take ownership of their brand—because the truth is, relying 100% on others can leave you stuck if a partnership ends. And let’s be honest, we’ve all been there. The Psychology Behind Branding Branding is personal. That’s why one of Puja’s signature questions in her discovery process is:"If your brand was a vacation spot, where would it be?"Because where you find peace often reflects your values—and your brand should feel like home. We also talked about the fear and shame around outgrowing a brand. Spoiler alert: outgrowing your brand is a milestone worth celebrating. Strategic Branding for an Exit Plan Thinking long term? Puja advises naming your business something that isn’t tied directly to your personal name if you’re planning to eventually exit or sell. It helps future owners feel connected and keeps your legacy alive—beyond your name. Real Talk: Saying “No” and Knowing Your Worth Puja shared the story of the first time she turned down a client who didn’t value her work. It was scary—and liberating. It’s a reminder to all of us: saying “no” can be the most profitable decision we make. What To Do After You Get Your Branding Package This is where the magic happens. Puja recommends: Updating your website, social graphics, and templates Uploading your brand guide into ChatGPT to help write aligned copy Letting AI assist, but making sure your voice shines through Your brand package should work for you. It’s a launchpad, not a PDF to sit in your inbox. Final Takeaways Branding isn’t just visual. It’s emotional. It’s strategic. It’s how your future clients feel when they land on your page. And that’s what Puja and Roop Creative deliver—clarity, confidence, and cohesion. So whether you’re just starting out or thinking about a rebrand, let this be your sign to go deeper, not wider. It’s not about being loud—it’s about being clear.

  • Ep.96-Clawed Out & Crushing It: From Crap Jobs to Digital Empires with Becky Beach
    Jul 30 2025
When Life Hands You Crap, Build a Digital Empire with It – My Chat with Becky Beach Let me just say this right out the gate: if you’ve ever found yourself stuck in a crap job with a crap boss in a crap situation and wondered, “Is this it?”—this episode of The Seed is going to light a fire under you. Becky Beach is the kind of woman you root for from the second she starts talking. She’s real, she’s raw, and she’s been through it. Like really been through it. I’m talking about being told she was worthless while pregnant and working 60-hour weeks. And instead of staying stuck in that mess, she did what most people are too afraid to even attempt—she bet on herself. And listen, this was our second attempt at recording this episode (shoutout to tech issues and weird feedback loops), and honestly, I’m glad it was. Because what came out of this conversation? Pure gold. We talked about: That moment when you realize comfort is not the same as peace How she turned a side blog into a serious six-figure business Why AI isn’t scary—it’s a gift, if you learn how to use it The actual mindset shift that helped her go from paycheck-to-paycheck to passive income powerhouse The importance of showing up. Not perfectly. Not loudly. Just showing up. This wasn’t some get-rich-quick convo. It was the truth about what it takes to build something sustainable while juggling life, fear, and a whole lot of “Am I really doing this?” moments. Becky didn’t just create a business—she created a life. On her terms. And because she’s generous like that, Becky is offering all of YOU a freebie. 🎁 A free training on how to create 3–4 digital products using AI—whether you’re just starting out or looking to finally get serious about selling. 👉 coachbeckybeach.com/lisaresnick This episode reminded me of something I’ve said before, and I’ll keep saying it: the uncomfortable moments? The hard decisions? They’re the doorway to growth. You don’t have to wait for someone to hand you the life you want—you can build it. And sometimes, that first brick is laid while you’re still in the mud. So go listen. Go subscribe. Go get that freebie. And go start—messy, unsure, with a little bit of scared and a whole lot of heart. Because the only thing more powerful than your next idea… is you actually doing something with it. • Ep.95-Why Your Process Beats Their Formula
    Jul 23 2025
Why I’m Questioning “Proven” Marketing Formulas (And What I’m Doing Instead) After a whirlwind trip and a much-needed mental reset, I’m finally back in the States and taking a deep breath—maybe for the first time in weeks. Being away gave me the space to pause (which rarely happens), and naturally, I found myself doing what I always do: reflecting, chewing on everything until the flavor’s all out, and thinking about where we’re headed with The Seed and with business in general. And here’s the thing I can’t stop thinking about:There’s a shift happening. And we need to talk about it. We’ve had some incredible guests on The Seed this year—Melanie Deziel, Raquel Bóris, Rachel Kelly—and each one brought something to the table that challenged how we think about success. From content strategy to showing up without filters to pivoting during personal transitions, they all reminded us that there is not one way to grow, lead, or thrive. So if you’ve been following all the “formulas” out there, buying into the six-figure scripts, and still feeling like something isn’t clicking? You are not broken. You are not behind. You are just ready to trust your own process. Here’s what I’m seeing in the online space: People are skeptical. Rightfully so. The internet is filled with big, shouty promises—“Grow your list in 30 days!” “Triple your income with one post!”—but fewer people are falling for it. We’re tired of being sold to. We’re craving something else: truth over tactics. Connection over conversion. Depth over noise. Marketing isn’t dead. But marketing without meaning? That’s what people are walking away from. So what does work right now? In my experience—and what I keep hearing from my guests—it’s not about formulas. It’s about a process: Testing Learning Listening Refining Connecting Showing up (again and again) This isn’t flashy. It’s not always fast. But it’s real. And it lasts. If you want your work to land, if you want your message to move people, then start here: The Hook: Say something that makes your audience stop scrolling and start feeling. The Guts: Give them value. Show them they’re not alone. Tell the truth no one else is saying. The Close: Offer a clear next step, whether it’s joining your email list, grabbing your freebie, or just dropping you a DM to connect. That’s the kind of marketing I want to keep doing. The kind that builds community, not just clicks. That speaks to the real person on the other side of the screen. That doesn’t sacrifice integrity just to keep up with the noise. As we head into the second half of 2025, let’s stop trying to copy blueprints that don’t fit and start building our own foundations. Because truthfully? You’re not behind. You’re just ready for your own process.Let’s grow with that in mind. Listen to the full conversation here.Don't forget to check out our blog, beyond the podcast, by clicking here.
