À propos de cet audio
There are things people do around blind people that might seem harmless — but they’re frustrating, and they happen more often than you’d think.
In this episode of The World As I See It, I’m talking about some of the situations that genuinely bother me. Like when someone asks a friend or family member what I want — while I’m standing right there. Or when someone grabs me or starts helping without saying anything. I know it usually comes from a good place, but that doesn’t mean it feels okay.
I’m not here to shame anyone — just to be honest. These little moments can send the wrong message: that I can’t speak for myself, or that I’m not really part of the conversation.
If you’ve ever wondered what blind people experience in everyday situations — or how small actions can have a bigger impact than you realize — this episode is a great place to start.
