175 years ago this fall, the first faculty, students and staff arrived at the first U-M Medical School building, one of the first buildings on the university's Diag. 100 years ago this month, the first patients arrived at the massive new University Hospital at the corner of Ann and Observatory Streets, long before it became known as "Old Main."
