    Episode Description

Today we unpack the simplest way to crush your day-to-day habits. I walk you through the Minimum Daily Action strategy that helps you exceed goals without chasing them. Instead of setting a workout target you can barely reach, we drop the benchmark just under your current capability then run straight through it. Twenty minutes in the gym becomes easy, so it edges to thirty then forty five. The same structure works for nutrition, mindset and every piece of the inside/out YLF Framework.

You will hear why small wins build unstoppable confidence, how a short trial period reveals your true baseline and how to tie daily actions to weekly targets. I also share the next step for tracking those victories everywhere so be sure to listen through the end.

    Episode Description:

Confidence is a choice. I know that goes against what most people are taught, but that’s exactly why we need to talk about it. In this episode, I walk you through how to shift from waiting for proof to deciding right now to believe in yourself. Confidence doesn’t come from checking enough boxes or proving yourself to others. It comes from within, and it is the foundation of living an inside/out life.

Once you make the choice to trust yourself, your actions become a reflection of that belief. They are not the reason you believe… they are the reinforcement. That small mindset shift makes a huge difference, especially if you’ve struggled with imposter syndrome or always feeling like you’re not doing enough. You don’t need to fake it until you make it. You can decide today that you are enough and build your active lifestyle from that belief.

I’m excited to share this message with you as part of the Always & Forever series. This one’s all about being Confident AF. If that’s something you’re working on, or want to own fully, I hope this episode helps you reframe how you think about your actions and identity.

Let me know how this hits for you. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

In this episode of The YLF30 Podcast we're talking about consistency. Most people "probably even you" don't think that they can be consistent with their eating and exercise. Here's the thing, you are already consistent in many areas in life. There's also a good chance that you're more consistent with your active lifestyle than you're giving yourself credit for.

Consistency is a skill. Like all other skills it can be developed. I think the best place to start is with the things you enjoy doing. If you start where you are, you'll eventually end up exactly where it is you need to be.

In this episode of The YLF30 Podcast, I’m kicking off a three-part series about something I believe is true for all of us… whether you fully see it yet or not. We’re talking about the qualities that have always been within you. These are the things that will not only reshape how you approach health and fitness, but also how you live your life.

This first one is all about resilience.

You’ve been through a lot, and the truth is, you’re still here. You’re still showing up. And maybe you don’t give yourself credit for it, but you are resilient. Not just sometimes… always.

This episode is about helping you see that resilience is already part of your story. It’s not about building something from scratch, it’s about recognizing what’s already there. And when you start to really embrace that identity, the way you navigate challenges, pursue goals, and relate to yourself can shift in a powerful way.

I also share the story behind the “Resilient AF” design in the Always & Forever Collection. This shirt is more than just merch… it’s a reminder of who you’ve been, who you are, and who you’ll continue to become.

So as you listen, think about how you’ve shown up for yourself, especially in the moments when you didn’t feel like it. That’s what this episode is really about.

    Episode Description:

In this short episode of The YLF30 Podcast, I’m focusing on a small but powerful shift that can completely change how you approach your daily and weekly goals. We’re talking about what it means to set goals that are meant to be exceeded… not goals that stretch you to the edge of burnout, but ones that you can confidently knock out on a consistent basis.

If you’ve ever been told to “push yourself” every single day or felt like your goals had to scare you to be valid, this episode is your reminder that sustainability beats intensity every time. Your daily and weekly goals should sit well within your comfort zone. Why? Because the real growth happens when you consistently exceed those manageable goals over time. That’s where confidence grows. That’s where momentum builds.

We’re not just talking about getting things done. We’re talking about building a system that supports long-term progress. The YLF Framework is designed to help you connect your daily actions to your weekly outcomes in a way that feels doable and aligned with your lifestyle. No more “all or nothing.” This is about getting into the habit of winning daily… and watching those small wins compound into something meaningful.

Thanks for listening and watching. I’d love to hear what your minimum daily goals are and how you’re building out your weeks. Email me at daryl@yourlevelfitness.com and let’s keep the conversation going.

In this episode of The YLF30 Podcast, I’m diving into a mindset phrase that gets tossed around a lot in personal development and fitness circles… “just be one percent better every day.” It sounds great and can be helpful in the beginning, but I’ve seen how relying on daily improvement as your driver can actually make you feel stuck or discouraged in the long run.

Early on in your journey, you’ll often see lots of visible wins. Maybe the scale moves. Maybe your clothes fit better. But eventually, progress slows. And if your motivation depends on seeing daily improvement, it becomes harder to stay consistent. That’s why I suggest shifting your focus to something more flexible… looking for wins wherever they show up. Some days you may not see much. Other days, you’ll notice a handful. That’s what long-term success actually looks like.

Instead of feeling defeated when things don’t move forward quickly, I want you to get curious. Look for the progress that is there. Spot those little improvements. Find opportunities to grow. And know that not every moment has to be productive or insightful to matter. When you detach from needing daily improvement, you give yourself more room to enjoy the process.

If this idea resonates or challenges you, I’d love to hear from you. Email me at daryl@yourlevelfitness.com and let’s talk about it.

    EPISODE DESCRIPTION:

In this episode of The YLF30 Podcast, I’m diving into one of the most important ideas when it comes to building a sustainable health and fitness plan… consistency is a skill.

You’ve probably heard people say that the best program is the one you follow. And while it sounds like a cliché, it’s absolutely true. But in order to follow something consistently, it has to be built around you. That’s why I encourage you to start with your preferences. What do you like to eat? How do you like to move your body? What fits into your schedule without making you feel overwhelmed?

The real secret to consistency is setting up routines that either feel automatic or genuinely exciting to you. When you enjoy what you’re doing, you’re far more likely to stick with it. And the good news is, this is a skill you can build and develop over time.

In this episode, I’ll walk you through how to start shaping your own personalized fitness plan using your food and exercise preferences. And I’ll show you how setting up your plan this way leads to a more flexible, resilient, and sustainable lifestyle... one that adjusts with you through different seasons of life.

If you’ve been struggling with discipline or feeling like you always fall off track, this episode will help you shift your focus toward something more empowering and doable.

    Episode Description:

If you’ve been focusing on habits, tracking goals, or just trying to “do the right thing” when it comes to fitness and weight loss, this episode is for you. I talk about why your results are never fully within your control, but your actions and mindset always are. You’ve probably heard that focusing on the process leads to outcomes, but what’s not always emphasized is how your mindset determines how consistent those actions will be.

I walk you through the idea that outcomes like weight loss are byproducts, not the point. Yes, it’s okay to have a target weight or body composition goal, but obsessing over when or how fast that happens will only lead to frustration. What you can control is how you show up each day, and the mental approach you bring to the process.

We’ll be diving into the role of calmness, ownership, and daily actions. And yes, consistency is a skill you can learn. That’s a big part of the inside/out approach, and it’s something we’ll continue to dig into.

Thanks for listening and welcome if you’re new. Let’s keep building together.
