In this episode of The Your Level Fitness Podcast, I’m talking about why I focus more on mindset and headspace than on tactical eating and exercise tips. There’s no shortage of programs and influencers out there who tell you exactly what to eat or how to train, but the truth is, that kind of advice often misses the point. Your mindset drives everything you do, and until you work on what’s happening inside, the external stuff won’t stick for long.
I share why most of the content I put out is designed to get you thinking differently about your approach to fitness, food, and life. It’s not about following another strict plan or chasing someone else’s routine. It’s about learning to enjoy the process, being honest with yourself, and approaching your goals with optimism and self-compassion instead of criticism and guilt.
You’ll also hear a little about my latest local project, the YLF cookie, and how it connects to the same philosophy I coach — enjoying what you eat, having fun along the way, and finding balance in your day-to-day life. I also talk about therapy, journaling, and the daily emails I create to help you build consistency from the inside/out.
If you’re looking for a mindset-first approach to health and fitness that feels grounded, honest, and sustainable, this one’s for you. Because the truth is, you don’t need another plan. You need a mindset that allows you to build one that actually fits you.
