    Nov 24 2025

In this episode of the Transformation Weight Control podcast, Rich, Alex and guest Naomi Boak discuss the complexities of living with obesity, the trauma associated with it that tracks from childhood into adulthood, frequently as a secret, and the transformative effects of GLP-1 medications. Naomi is a participant in the Weight Loss Medication Support Group at Transformation Weight Control.

You did not wake up one day and thought how cool it would be to struggle with your weight and suffer the trauma, stigma, shame, guilt, isolation, self-blame, low self-esteem, and "false equivalence", the belief that you define yourself by the number on the scale. Listen or watch how Naomi describes how she has successfully coped and continues to do so.
