He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, where he contributes to the teaching activities for medical students. His main research interest is in Multiple Sclerosis epidemiology and prognostic factors. He has authored several scientific articles in highly impact journals and he also participates often as a speaker at international conferences and webinars and seminars in MS. He continues his research activity in collaboration with other international academic orgnisations.
Antonio is one of the first Neurologists in the world who has dedicated his time researching the prognostic factors of progression in MS and he discovering that the process of natural progression of MS as independent of the MS relapses, there is something more that drives the natural ms progression, and he introduced the concept of smouldering MS and we will talk about this later, he is also investigating the impact of ageing process on MS brain health.
In this interview we discuss mechanisms of aging and what can we all do to slow and reverse aging process. This episode includes of basic science, actionable protocols, right down to the details of what to do, by the end you will have knowledge of the biology of aging and how to offset it.
