Ford (@sarahafordesq) and Producer Zeke Stephenson (@zekestephenson) take a deep dive into last week's Victims Matter Rally that was hosted by SCVAN and SCADVASSA and took place on the front steps of the South Carolina State House. We chat about the Bowen Turner case being back in the news and where we’ve been these past few months.

As we discussed in the episode, we are looking at a significant cut to the VOCA funds that many of us rely on to serve victims. We need to advocate that the legislature provides the SC Attorney General with additional funds so that victim services providers don’t face devastating cuts that will ultimately hurt victims.
