À propos de cet audio
Okay, Sweetgreen. What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of these types of food companies?
Well, what we see is inaccessibility and inequality. In the second episode of our Social Media Food Culture series, we talk about how whiteness and wellness have altered our behaviors and access to nutritious foods in America.
We are gonna get real and relate food to topics such as intergenerational trauma, food media accountability, and wealth inequality's impact on food access in inner city and university communities. As a generation we can take active steps to unlearn food cultures rooted in racism and recreate food cultures rooted community health and inclusivity.
