À propos de cet audio
Who do you turn to for advice during pregnancy, birth, and motherhood — and how do you know if their influence is truly supportive?
In this episode, I share what I’ve noticed over 13 years of making my own choices and supporting other women: that our state of being, our past experiences, and our core values shape who we allow to influence us. Together, we’ll explore the three main ways we receive influence — from directly asking for advice, from long-term relationships, and from following broader movements — and I’ll walk you through a simple litmus test to help you discern whether guidance is actually serving you.
You’ll learn how to notice:
- If someone can hold space for nuance (instead of being rigid or dogmatic)
- Where they’re really coming from — love and empowerment, or fear and trauma
- How advice lands in your body: expansive and supportive, or contracting and limiting
At the end of the day, there’s no single “right” way to give birth. There is only your way — and your inner wisdom will always guide you if you let it.
