We are joined by a group of dedicated guests who are committed to introducing students to the career possibilities within their community. Beth Bridges, Sharon Lewis, Felicia Mackins, and Hunter Taylor are members of the York Intermediate Schools (YIS) Career Day Committee.
Each academic year, they organize and coordinate the annual career day at YIS, effectively bridging the gap between education and the workforce. This event provides students with the chance to explore various career paths while understanding how these professions contribute to their local community. We will discuss strategies for planning and executing successful career day events tailored for elementary school students.
