The Infected

On a day like any other, Jim Blackmore finds himself at ground zero of the zombie apocalypse. He's forced to run a blood-soaked gauntlet through a city overrun by an insurmountable horde of the dead in a desperate attempt to reach his wife and two small children.

Raising kids is tough. Keeping them alive as the zombie apocalypse begins is tougher. But that's exactly what stay-at-home mom Karen needs to do: fight fiercely to keep her young daughters safe as her husband Jim battles his way across the city, so they can escape the carnage together. On the worst day of her life, Karen finds that she will do anything to protect her family, and that the line between life and death has teeth.

Jim and Karen Blackmore have discovered that when it comes to the zombie apocalypse, there is no such thing as safety in numbers. Between their separate groups of survivors is a city of the living dead, hungry for flesh and growing in numbers by the minute. As Jim and his newly minted gang of zombie killers fight their way to his family, Karen fortifies her hideout and prepares for an emergency escape she knows is inevitable. As night falls and their chances of seeing the dawn seem impossible, Jim and Karen's only wish is to reunite as the end of the world begins. 

Jim and Karen are finally reunited, but a new horror is on the horizon. Zombie hoards are around every corner. Every moment is a fight for their lives. Will they make it another day? Or is this apocalypse a death sentence they won't survive? 

Jim and Karen's group have escaped the horrors of Vancouver and are travelling north, toward his parents home, in hopes that the remote location will allow them some measure of safety. What they encounter on the road is far more dangerous than anything the city had to offer. The defenses at Brother Paul's survivalist church are at a breaking point and a drastic choice must be made. As he shepherds his congregation north to a massive, secluded church compound, he learns that faith alone won't save his followers. It's going to take a hell of a lot of bullets and all the luck in the world.

They have traveled north and survived the chaos of the big city. Shortly after arriving in Battle Ground, Jim's hometown, everything went completely wrong. Their group is now scattered to the wind, and a reunion seems completely impossible. Jim and Karen are forced to fight harder than they imagined possible to save what truly matters. Brother Paul and his people managed to escape the clutches of a massive zombie horde, and as they flee north toward Battle Ground, he has one thing on his mind: Finding Jim Blackmore, and getting his revenge.

The team heads into the city for medical supplies and are shocked by what they find in the sleepy town of Battle Ground. Hybrids scavenge the countryside for humans. Their hunger knows no end. The cravings are driving them absolutely mad. Lindsey has made a promise to herself, "I will taste Brother Paul's flesh." The man's faith will be pushed to its ultimate limits while he fights harder than ever to survive another day. Bad luck continues to haunt Jim and Karen as they find themselves in crosshairs of this new threat.
