In this book, Autumn learns of a rumor being spread around through school about another unicorn. Thinking it could be a unicorn Gwyn knows, Autumn shares the rumor with the unicorn. Together, Gwyn and her friends wander through the town, heading to the location where the rumored unicorn was seen. As they walk, Gwyn wonders if she truly is the only unicorn in this world and tries to not get her hopes too high about another unicorn. But a small hope remains, and she grows just as excited as her friends.

In this book, Gwyn the unicorn gathers up her friends and takes them into the forest toward the old ruins. She’s nervous about returning to the place, but carries on just to show her friends her old home. When they arrive, the gang explores the ruins excitedly, and Gwyn uses her magic to show what it used to look like. She tells them about the princess she used to be friends with and how much the princess was like Autumn.

After Princess Alicia finds a magic fish-bone, compliments of her fairy godmother, she eventually uses it to improve financial conditions for her father the king, queen, and her 18 brothers and sisters. This classic bedtime story for kids was written by Charles Dickens in 1867, although Mr. Dickens credits the tale to a Miss Alice Rainbird (aged seven), as it gives a very heartwarming glimpse into a Victorian world which can only be seen through the eyes of an innocent child.
