The Wundermutt dog food company is searching for a very special dog to be in their commercials, and the Aldens bring their dog, Watch, to the tryouts! The Boxcar Children learn lots of interesting things about the Navajos - but best of all is a legend about an ancient Native American village that once existed nearby. Curious, the children begin digging there and uncover some valuable artifacts. But it seems someone wants the village to stay buried!

The Aldens are excited to visit their friend, Seymour Curtis, who lives on a farm that's rumored to be haunted! When they arrive, they learn that valuable antiques have gone missing. Is the thief someone who Seymour knows? Or is it a ghost seeking revenge? The Boxcar Children have another mystery to solve!

The children are attending Camp Coral, where they learn about the ocean and all the things in it - coral, fish, dolphins, and other sea creatures. They find a beautiful hidden beach, but then learn that it holds a terrible secret. Once again, the Boxcar Children must come to the rescue!

The Aldens are going on a trip to the Arizona desert. There they learn about the legend of the Lost Dutchman Mine. Everyone thinks the mine is filled with gold. Can the Boxcar Children find out if the legend is true - and if it is, who will find the gold?
