Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are happy to share their home with Katya, the young gymnast, and watch her practice for the big competition. When things start going wrong at the gym, it quickly becomes clear that someone is trying to ruin Katya's chances of winning...but who? The Aldens want to help. The Aldens are helping out at their favorite ice cream store in town, the Shoppe. When very strange things begin to happen, the Shoppe is in danger of losing its customers and going out of business. Can the Boxcar Children solve the mystery and save the Shoppe before it’s too late?

The Boxcar Children learn lots of interesting things about the Navajos - but best of all is a legend about an ancient Native American village that once existed nearby.
