The Metamorphosis (German: Die Verwandlung, also sometimes translated as The Transformation) is a novella by Franz Kafka, first published in 1915. The Willows is a novella by English author Algernon Blackwood, originally published as part of his 1907 collection The Listener and Other Stories.
