Helen Adams Keller was an American author, handicap rights champ, political activist, and speaker who lived from June 27, 1880 to June 1, 1968. She was born in West Tuscumbia, Alabama, and following a bout of health problem at the age of 19 months, she lost both her sight and hearing. Keller used home signals till she was seven years of age, when she met Anne Sullivan, her first instructor and long-lasting partner, who taught her language, and that includes reading and writing.

Invisible Visibility discusses the key barriers that marginalize disabled artists from taking center stage and looks at examples of good practice through three key case studies. This audiobook puts forward an agenda for change, inclusion, and, ultimately, visibility within the sector and beyond for disabled dancers from culturally diverse backgrounds.

This book is user-friendly. Each chapter will be dedicated to one month. Within each chapter, there will be a subsection for each week. Subsequently, a passage for each day will give the listener a slice of what it means to live with a disability. By taking this cultural journey, the listener will be able to interact with the disabled community and other minority groups authentically.
