Inspirational Fiction Mystery

Abby Wright, with her cute English accent and cool way of saying things, is Jeri McKane’s biology lab partner and close friend. When a mysterious explosion in their lab sends Abby to the hospital, Jeri’s sleuthing nose smells more than just smoke. Can she unravel the mystery before anyone else gets hurt? Set in the 1960s through 1970s, this coming of age story, is a whimsical drama about a little black girl named Paula Marshall. She's an average quirky kid, growing up in rural Texas, feeling lonely most of the time. The storm cellar of her parents' rooming house is her hideaway, but once Cora shows up, she'll have to fight for her space and peace of mind.

This is the story of a young girl whose mother has died. Returning to her in a hailstorm of light for night passage, the mother takes her daughter on a journey to find the Key to Heaven. Traveling to the Dead Sea, she meets with the prophets of old to pick up pieces of this key before she meets the one who holds the final key, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
