Gustave Le Bon - "Psychologie des foules". Psychologie des foules est un livre de Gustave Le Bon paru en 1895. Il s'agit d'un ouvrage de référence concernant la psychologie sociale, dont les théories sont encore discutées aujourd'hui. Ce livre marqua un tournant dans la carrière du "célèbre docteur". Gustave Le Bon montre dans cet ouvrage que le comportement d'individus réunis n'est pas le même que lorsque les individus raisonnent de manière isolée - il explique ainsi les comportements irraisonnés des foules.

La psychologie est un sujet aux horizons vastes et parfois encore inexplorés. Le bien-être psychique d'un individu dépend en effet de chaque influence individuelle. En commençant par le ventre de la mère, en continuant par l'éducation, les hobbies, les opinions, les connaissances, les sentiments et les valeurs apprises. Ces influences sont en effet à l'origine d'un développement positif, mais aussi d'un développement négatif. Ces oppositions entre le développement positif et le développement négatif décrivent en gros la psychologie.
