The last piece of the puzzle is about to fall into place—and the truth is more terrifying than anyone imagined. Time is running out for Charlie and the NCIS. After another pod survivor lands in the desert outside Las Vegas, a surprise encounter drives a wedge through the tight-knit group and sends the team spiraling into chaos.

They accidentally discover a way to travel back in time to the exact moment of discovery of a famous invention or idea.

The physicist mother of Kizzy and Fraser Rye has invented an amazing time machine that can travel back into the past, snatch a plant or animal now extinct, and bring it back into the present.
