The Wisdom On… series is a collection of short books making practical application of wisdom literature and other Scripture on a variety of topics facing students. The series is designed to help students apply biblical principals of wisdom to everyday circumstances. Each book is a collection of case studies, key Scriptures, interactive activities, and helpful insights to assist teenagers in their growth of wisdom.

This practical look at sexual purity is written directly to teens in a frank, accessible, and totally honest style to help them make decisions for sexual integrity. When Young Men Are Tempted discusses factors surrounding sexual temptation and presents a strategy to encourage and assist young men to lead morally pure lives. Author Bill Perkins offers success stories as well as testimonies of false solutions.

Why would I see the need to write about a horrible “bizarre bullying” experience that I had as a teen in the 1970s, rather than relate all of the glory days I experienced? I think we sometimes forget about how hard it can be for a teen to survive the challenges of growing into adulthood. I believe by sharing one of my own negative life experiences, I can help to demonstrate how serious bullying can be in the lives of teenagers, who are trying to grow up in a tough and sometimes cruel world.
