This book have me so many emotions: hate, love, mad, sad and respect. Andi Ardnt is my favorite narrator and does an awesome job yet again. I can't wait to see how Kate and Jackson's story continues.

Catherine and Jackson have complicated pasts, but when they first meet, they can't help but feel the attraction. Trying to fight it doesn't prove fruitful. They decide to let it run its course, but they don't expect it to fall in love. It's not easy, but they slowly break down their walls only to have them come up again when the unthinkable happens.... that horrible cliffhanger. Now I have to read book 2 to see how their journey ends! Corinne Michaels, you know just how to keep your readers engaged. Thank you!❤️

I enjoyed the story, a beautiful love story if they could please get there happily ever after soon!! Haha I liked the main characters, I'm excited to know more about Jackson's secrets in the following books.

I started with the audiobook and finished with the KU book, because the free audiobook had expired before I got to finish it . Both were easy to read/listen to.
