Great 1st book in what I know will be a fantastic

This book have me so many emotions: hate, love, mad, sad and respect. Andi Ardnt is my favorite narrator and does an awesome job yet again. I can't wait to see how Kate and Jackson's story continues.

Beloved!

Catherine and Jackson have complicated pasts, but when they first meet, they can't help but feel the attraction. Trying to fight it doesn't prove fruitful. They decide to let it run its course, but they don't expect it to fall in love. It's not easy, but they slowly break down their walls only to have them come up again when the unthinkable happens.... that horrible cliffhanger. Now I have to read book 2 to see how their journey ends! Corinne Michaels, you know just how to keep your readers engaged. Thank you!❤️

Nice story

I enjoyed the story, a beautiful love story if they could please get there happily ever after soon!! Haha I liked the main characters, I'm excited to know more about Jackson's secrets in the following books.

I started with the audiobook and finished with the KU book, because the free audiobook had expired before I got to finish it . Both were easy to read/listen to.

Gratuitous sex scenes

The story is interesting and well performed. I don't see the need for the amount of foul language and sex scene details. Note that this is a cliff-hanger book that will want you to buy the next one.

A little slow but worth it...

There are a lot of ups and downs, she definitely keeps you moving, but there are parts that get a little stagnant. Be patient, it's worth it. I think those moments just get a little too wordy, describing the same thing multiple times in slightly different ways. More than anything I'd say that's an editing issue. The characters are great. The best friend is my favorite character. The book deals with a lot of heavy issues, especially as baggage going into a relationship. Parts of the lack of communication are just unbelievable...but mostly you just want the characters to open up and move forward, which is sometimes how life is. Anyway can't wait to jump into book two.

Hard to put down

I would have finished this in one day if I could. Loved the story & the chemistry the two characters have, I was captivated from beginning to end.

The ending was frustrating to say the least but it makes sense because I can’t wait start the next book!

very emotional

This book is very emotional. the range of feeling during the listening is amazing. from sad to funny to anger to happy.
the story draw me in. Andi is one of the best so everything she narrates will be top notch.

be aware that this book has cliffhanger ending. looking forward listening to the next one

The beginning of an amazing series!

This book is filled with heartbreak. From what Catherine goes through in the beginning to what happens at the end with Jackson. But, together Jackson and Catherine are everything. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are just perfect together. You can feel their love and respect for each other. I loved the narrators for this book, as always, listening to this amazing book gave me a complete out of body experince and really pulls on all your heartstrings. It ends on a cliffhanger and it just makes you want to pick up the next audiobook immediately. I loved listening to this book and am excited to listen to the conclusion of Jackson and Catherine!
