Not really a good series anymore

This opening chapters are really a how to prepare an older community for the apocalypse. Then a very detailed discussion on the past books female antagonist.

The previous books were very detailed and could be slow but this over done.

An 8 hour listen and 2 hours in I am beginning to fast forward.

Was looking forward to a small group getting revenge on a bad human then the hero working his way home. Seems in no rush at all to return home.

Just my thoughts but way to slow and detailed
