Tangible and real raw advice
This book is filled with tangible, applicable, real advice for family businesses and also extends and lends itself to a lot of situations… it’s practical and digs deep into conversations and thought processes that are so important and so very often not addressed… not only should family businesses read this all advisors should read this and assess the opportunities you can integrate in your practice with business owners

Must read for any entrepreneur and/or family business leader.
Sandy has written a wonderful book that leaves no question about the importance of sorting out your affairs. She understands the entrepreneur’s strengths, tendencies and shortcomings. She clearly illustrates the importance of getting organized, using both cautionary tales as well as examples of how proper planning can impact a family’s life and legacy in a positive way despite terrible circumstances.
I started recommending this to friends after the 2nd chapter.
