Publisher's Summary

Now tested in battle, Evan aims to become the heir of Hatra.

Once that he’s a lord, Evan has even more on his plate, from rebuilding the city’s aqueducts to fighting demonic hordes.

On top of all that, the King of Rahma gives Evan a quest to prove his worth: to find the lost sword of Hatra, which was last seen 1,000 years ago.

If Evan can find the sword, he will gain the king’s favor and the princess’s hand in marriage.

Good thing he’s a badass dragon.

Good story terrible narrator. <br />

Story not bad but narrator reads whole thing like one long action sequence so don't know when to be excited plus he makes the protagonist sound like total idiot.

Just WOW

Once again a great story. Couple of nice twists with Tristan and Valera. And the adoption was a great scene as well. Keep up the great work

Intentionally obtuse

it is outright painful listening to the grandstanding "nothing will stop me" speeches repeatedly. And then (spoiler) the character being so ridiculously obtuse as to lie unnecessarily to the king after he was believed so readily about time travel once already. I'm bored so I might finish this book but i wont be buying the next.

What is this?

I hate to spit on anyone's lively hood, but the male narrarator is not very good, he rushes through the chapters, and is not good at using any other accents. It's actually so droll and annoying I can't even finish the audiobooks. The books themselves are very entertaining.

Narrator improved this time

Narrator seems to have gotten more natural in his speech this time around. Very much improved the experience
