such a fun ride. the story just gets better and better and RC Bray oversurpassed himself with the narration.the New character is very cool! I am more into sf than fantasy but this story is amazing and I like the modern setting

I’m a huge fan of skippy and ex force. And I like book one of this series. But this book is a lot of animal jokes and people eating meals. I don’t want to hear anymore trips to restaurants or stores. Or poopy trips behind hotels or animal behavior jokes. The plot has screeches to a halt when there are too many of these. There are too many kooky personalities to juggle without helping move the plot forward. I lost my interest and investment in the characters in some places. Kaz is just a magical babysitter but should be fighting evil. This is the first Alanson book I have had doubts and kinda disliked. RC Bray is amazing as always but can’t help the Alanson recreate the skippy-joe magic with kaz azib and duke. And it’s a huge disappointment that the knights did absolutely nothing in the first book and look to be background extras in this one. No clear direction for the characters gets old quickly. But it has a solid ending and I MAY pick up the next one if it comes with a Taco Bell coupon.

Awesome story and loved the SG-1 reference (btw, that's the number "1" not the letter "I" misread by the fabulous Mr. Bray)

I look forward to all we will learn about this world and these secret organizations. It’s clear Alanson does not own a cat and only has a series of cat videos to base his cat character off of though. Small gripe, but it really bothered me how un cat like the cat was.
