Publisher's Summary

The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn.

At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters....

The continent of Izril is rife with change as a young man named Laken Godart finds himself lost like all the others. Being naturally blind does not increase his odds of survival, either, but with luck, he might survive the winter.

This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

Love Love Love this book series!

The characters are engaging and funny, the perspective of a modern person in a magical word is like a fantasy dream come true.

Listened to entire series back 2 back

This will be one of my favourite book series.
The narration was the best I’ve ever heard. Such a range of voices, accents and personnes.
Bravo!
This was an amazing series and reminded me a bit of Anne McCaffery’s Pern adventures.
I look forward to the next book in the series. After all, it cannot end there.

Great narration!

I love the wandering inn series. Andrea Parsneau is one of my favourite narrators. I am very sensory sensitive and have a hard time with a lot of narrator’s unfortunately which makes choosing books hard but she not only makes the characters come to life with their cadences/accents but is easy to listen to in general. Some parts of the story are very detailed oriented which is great for world building but I do find that occasionally the internal monologue of some characters can feel repetitive in nature and get a little boring - parts I probably would have skimmed quickly if I had been reading the book myself. But because I usually listen while doing chores it’s not such a big deal, as long as I remember to tune back in when the voice changes lol

Another classic tale in the Wandering Inn universe!!

I enjoyed this book and it deserves every bit of its five stars! Believe it or not this is the weakest so far in the series but make sure to NOT miss this one! So many high spots scattered within. Pick it up and enjoy! The ending makes you wanting more!

Honestly great but Erin is annoying

Love the story and all the characters in it except Erin. Erins perspective is hard to listen to (chapter 19 especially) she keeps trying to force people to do things and she is very childish in doing it. I just hope we will get more of Ryoka than Erin in future books.

Keeps getting better

The story keeps improving, and I could listen to Andrea Parsneau read the phone book.

Great Continuation

New friends are made, adventure is had, and money comes and goes so swiftly; whether wanted, needed, or not wanted at all.
