The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn.

At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters....

The continent of Izril is rife with change as a young man named Laken Godart finds himself lost like all the others. Being naturally blind does not increase his odds of survival, either, but with luck, he might survive the winter.

This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

I only wish this book was longer. Absolutely amazing series. Can not wait untill the next book.

Amazing!

Of all the books I have listened to, this narrator is the best of all. Every one of the many characters, male female human non-human, are distinctive, clear, and appropriate. So great I wish she read every book in my library.

Best narrator ever!!!

Very fun. The continued adventures of Erin and friends make for a fun and engaging listen. The narratir is phenomenal. If there's an award for performing audiobooks she should win it again and again. This book is pretty quick paced compared to previous books. The author has improved as they've gone along writing and does not get lost in tedium so much as in the first novel (which was good but very slow but still good for a novice). The secrets everyone hide are starting to come out and the Innworld is getting more and more interesting. The antinium are, as ever, fascinating and very original. Love it. Starting the next immediately.

Great!

Was good but chapters didn't flow quite a smooth as first two books ... was like several sepearte books rather than one book with flow to different story lines

fragmented story lines

Love the story and all the characters in it except Erin. Erins perspective is hard to listen to (chapter 19 especially) she keeps trying to force people to do things and she is very childish in doing it. I just hope we will get more of Ryoka than Erin in future books.

Honestly great but Erin is annoying
