Some might read the title and say “HE DOESN’T LIKE JOE??” Not so both series I love, but something about the Mavericks just scratches the itch better. It’s fun, still stressful in place and expands the universe well. Plus who doesn’t like it when the odds feel more even. Craig if you read this, keep writing it your way and I’ll keep loving it!

My only complaint is the author spends too much time talking about how things work
which takes away from the story. I'm an action junkie and a lot of the story bores me, which might be my problem.

along with the expeditionary force series, but this book had virtually no story and was basically a giant battle scene. I hope the next installment will lean on the great characters a little more, and give a little more substance. either way, I'm still going to get it!

Loved it, just as much as the others in the series! Can't wait for the next one! RC bray is a great performer, and Craig alanson has to be one of the best authors of the year, might even be of the decade....but that just started!

Freefall continues the story for the Mavericks the only way you can expect, by getting in way over their heads!

Freefall was excellent, some questions answered and more questions asked. R.C. Bray did an excellent job with the narration, and stay tuned because there are outtakes!!

Some top notch zingers in here and I got a lot of good laughs. 5 star ⭐️ performance...the lizard lisp was just mint.
I think Perkins is a lame character but the beetles and lizards make it up.
