Excellent!!

Freefall continues the story for the Mavericks the only way you can expect, by getting in way over their heads!

Freefall was excellent, some questions answered and more questions asked. R.C. Bray did an excellent job with the narration, and stay tuned because there are outtakes!!

PLEASE MORE of these and less of the others!!

Don't get me wrong I really enjoy the Expeditionary Force series but I just feel like those are just going too far. Everytime they are about to solve a problem BOOM another one comes up. It just feels like Craig is dragging that series along. This new series on the other hand is fresh and so much more fun. I love the new characters and also how the Mavericks are working with the other species rather than against them. If you have not started this series I would highly recomend it!!!

Outstanding!

I have been entertained by the "Mavericks" offshoot of Expeditionary Force. Pretty ok story with some great characters but a sidebar to the main story line. This book changed that for me. Great listen and great story. Colonel Emily Perkins monkey brain would pop Skippy's top. I can't wait to see her plans unfold further.

Great Fun and Awesome Sci-Fi

This book was so packed with action that carried more punch than a fish head accelerated to Mach 2.

Love this shit

Any ex-for book is great, one that deals with the beetles often is even better. Those fuckers are entertaining

Outstanding!

Any book that involves a hamster, a lizard and a redneck going on a mission to hunt squids while birds and beetles fight each other in space can't possibly be bad. Loved it!

good but with less humor

I enjoy Craig Alansons books and this one does not disappoint. This book very clearly has a more muted humor. This does not detract from the story at all but I do miss having more laugh out loud moments.

hands down the best of the series.

the series is great but the last few books seemed to hit a rut. this one though, this one felt like Alanson was re-energized and was in love with the story again. love it

Does this book move the story along

At least they were honest in the end. What did we achieve?

Screenplay any one. Maybe it is just me being harsh but I wanted more progression. I Liked the interpersonal interactions, sergan Jakes comes off as a one trick Pony but I laugh sometimes.
