About this listen

Meet the galaxy's unluckiest outlaws.

Carl Ramsey is an ex-Earth Navy fighter pilot turned con man. His ship, the Mobius, is home to a ragtag crew of misfits and refugees looking to score a big payday but more often just scratching to pay for fuel. The crew consists of his ex-wife (and pilot), a drunkard, four-handed mechanic, a xeno-predator with the disposition of a 120kg housecat, and the galaxy's most-wanted wizard.

Along the way, the Mobius crew crosses paths with the Black Ocean's vilest scum, from pirate fleets to criminal syndicates, and most law-abiding scum, including Earth Interstellar Enhanced Investigative Organization, ARGO high command, and the Convocation of Wizards.

Time and again, riches lie just out of reach, because for all the talents Carl Ramsey and his crew possess, they've also got an outlaw's greatest weakness: a conscience.

Galaxy Outlaws is a collection of all 16 Black Ocean missions chronicling the adventures of the starship Mobius and her crew, along with six short stories. This series is the perfect cure for the Firefly Season 2 blues. It's what you'd get if The Orville took place on Serenity, or if Star Wars had wizards instead of Jedi.

These were great books. Light, fun and entertaining.
They were a great change of pace for me. I tend to gravitate towards more serious fiction and nonfiction. These kept me engaged and amused.
The narrator was excellent and I will be delving farther into the black ocean.

Super Fun!

They were a companion for a month in my ears... Being a sci-fi lover, I just loved the crew... And the narrator's voice, a real delight in my ears... I'll just miss them

An 85 hour saga, and 83 of those hours were amazing.

The narration is brilliant, with individual voices for every single of the over 100 characters you meet.

Highly recommended!

Fantastic story, exemplary narration

Les personnages sont attachants et les histoires sont faciles a suivre.
Le narrateur semble prendre plaisir à faire les personnages.
Si on aime la sf et on veut un livre pas compliqué mais intéressant c'est un très bon choix.

loved this series, the author knows how to write interesting stories without making you wade through description to get to them. The characters are all solid, Mikael Naramore breathing life into each character in a way that so few Narrators can. if you are a scifi fan and you're not sure about getting this series? just get it!

Awesome scfi adventure
