Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Rina Kent comes a new stand-alone enemies-to-lovers college romance.

I’m trapped by the devil. What started as an innocent mistake turned into actual hell.

In my defense, I didn’t mean to get involved with a mafia prince. But he barged through my defenses anyway. He stalked me from the shadows and stole me from the life I know.

Jeremy Volkov might appear charming, but a true predator lurks inside. He’s out to possess, own, and keep me.

But I have no plans to stick around in his blood-soaked world. Or so I think.

This book is a dark unconventional romance and contains themes that aren't to everyone's liking.

Wish Teddy Hamilton narrated more

The story was pretty typical for a dark romance story, a lil corny and over done but still entertaining. The one thing I disliked the most was the lack of chapters narrated by Jeremy (Teddy Hamilton) it’s mostly narrated by the female protagonist and there was also an unnecessary introduction of 2 additional characters/narrators very late into the story :/ all in all it was a decent listen

Fav in the series 🥵

To say I was excited for this book is an understatement, and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. !!! Jeremy and Cecily are my new fav couple in the series. The chemistry. The tension. 🥵 I was so curious as to how they would be as a couple, and wowie zowieeeeee I’m obsessed.

I also listened to the audio book and it was PERFECTION. Teddy Hamilton is my #1 favorite and when I saw he was performing Jeremy’s chapters knew I had to get the audio book too. Zara Hampton-Brown also fucking killed it for Cecily’s chapters. Then add Shane East and Jason Clarke ???? I mean seriously. Audiobook cast of my dreams.

Rina Kent, ily.

Zara Hampton Brown is AMAZING!!

So, I started this and had all the doubts because it was not a duet. I was listening to this after listening to God Of Fury’s duet, so obviously my reservations were genuine.
God Of Wrath is my favourite along with GoF in this series, and after this audiobook, it became my seventh reread of this book.
Anyway, like I said, I had reservations because GoW is mostly from Cecily’s POV, and listening to the same voice becomes too much for me. Zara Hampton Brown LITERALLY is the star of this audiobook. Don’t take me wrong, I loved everyone, but the way she changed her voice every time was amazing. It was something I was not sure of before I started this audiobook.
The overall rating is 4 just because I’d have loved if it were a duet.
