A really great collection of stories.

This is a really excellent collection of stories from Greek Mythology. It does not contain every story, but it does choose a few to do in great detail. The authors also justify why they chose their particular version of the story, which adds a level of nuance and meta-analysis to the collection.

Amazing

I love the short explanations and variations it gives at the end. Hits three very popular stories and two that probably are not as well known. Would recommend it to anyone interested.

Excellent telling of classic stories.

From the first myth to the last, are so in-depth and fascinating, i couldn't put it down. If your interested in a deeper dive into the stories this is a perfect book to start.

Old tales told anew

Well told tales of myth, some of the more popular ones with a well thought out meaning at the end. It was great to revisit some of the most well known characters of Greece.

Better than expected :)

I’ve been interested in Mythology more these past few weeks, & between two different audiobooks series I wanted to take a brief break. This short but brilliantly told collection of Greek mythology was perfect. It’s very well written, even by modern standards, & the stories are easy to follow as well as interesting :)
