Really great help. Hoping to get a hard copy.

I found this book through his podcast, and dove right in. His voice is calm, confident, and ... well he just doesn’t sound like an idiot. Terms are explain well, its direct, and funny in places. I really enjoyed my first listen. Its a little short, but hey... he also had a poscast. And I’m going to listen to this a few more times. Would love to get my hands on a hard copy just to have for quick references here and there.

Easily digestible, informative, and entertaining

Really appreciate the concise, laymen language and the guidance on approaching anxiety. The ABC tool is really cool and I'm looking forward to incorporating it into my self care practice. Thank you!

Good starter

This is my first self help book on anxiety and audible, and I loved it. it wasn't too long, went straight to the point. it kind of look like a first session. i personally loved the letter for loved one, it really got to me and plan to use it. It makes me wanna read more self help book

this is definitely one of those self help book that you can listen to more than once

it's a very helpful tool to create a foundation to battling anxiety and/or very helpful to understand what anxiety is and what can be done about it.

I do this audio book yearly!

It’s quick, but I like that.
Sometimes we get stuck in these negative ruts and this book is a really quick and reliable snap back for me.

Pretty good if you’re just starting your journey

I liked the idea of this book being short and to the point. I really liked the part where they discuss what you would say to someone who doesn’t quite understand what you’re going through or what you might need from them. If you’re just beginning you anxiety journey, I would totally recommend listening to this. If, like myself, you’re a lifetime into your struggle and more of an ‘advanced’ pupil, I would perhaps skip over this, as it really didn’t tell me much else ‘new’ about my condition that I haven’t already heard many times before.
I also enjoyed how straight forward and relatable the reading was. Easy and human.

he knows his stuff

I suffer from agoraphobia and although this isn't very helpful for me, it is a good book for generalized anxiety
