Sweet Friends to lovers romance with a steamy bisexual awakening!

This was a sweet, steamy slowburn romance. Chase and Xander have both had difficult childhoods and come with their own baggage. They are like two sides to a coin, but come together so beautifully. The chemistry between them is hot and sizzling.
Bob Brill did an amazing audio delivery as well.

I definitely recommend this if you like an opposites attract, friends to lovers romance with a steamy bisexual awakening.

This story was charming, sweet, and erotic

Chase is an Army vet who was forced out of the service due to an injury. Xan is a gifted motorcycle mechanic and restorer trying to rebuild his life after leaving behind his entanglement with a not-so-friendly MC. Both men discovery their bisexuality, buy most importantly, they discover they are wildly attracted to each other. Lust turns into love, with the support of their friends and employers who understand what it’s like to come out when you’ve hidden yourself for way too long. The narration was perfect and the narrator did a great job bringing out the voices of these very different men who fall in love. When the past begins to catch up, difficult decisions have to be made. I l really enjoyed this story. There’s an undercurrent of hope and optimism, even when things become difficult. The sex scenes between the men as they explore each other and their sexuality are hot, graphic, and a great listen. At it’s very heart, this is a love story with a lot sexual exploration thrown in.

Follow on from Silver in the City

This is a lovely slow burn. I love the made family connections and revisiting all the characters from the previous trilogy. I am looking forward to the next book

brought our MCs together. But will the past pull them apart? I loved this slow burn friends to lovers story. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Fabulous Story & Listen🎧A Sweet & Spicy🔥Delight!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is my first book written by A.D. Ellis and it will not be my last, she is s gifted author, I loved the characters and storylines she created, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it right to the end. I adored both lead characters, Chase Steele and Zander Copperfield, the two came from different worlds yet they had a lot in common. There was also some great chemistry between them. Chase planned a career in the Army but a knee injury ended that, after a couple of civilian jobs and layoffs, his luck started to turn around. While job hunting in Indianapolis he found a long lost relative, a new job and place to live, he also got to know some great people, whom I fell in love with right away, the Silvers, an awesome, tight knit family and crew. Zander is fairly new in town, he managed to get himself out of a bad situation and landed a job in the local garage, Whitfield’s Motorcycles Sale and Service. He was on a lunch break in the park when he noticed Chase, the two started talking and hit it off. Zander did not think he would see him again so he was pleasantly surprised to see him at The Salty Lizard, the local bar restaurant. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story contains a lot of heart and is beautifully plotted. It is a great slow burn, friends to lovers romance, I liked the natural flow to the story, how they got to know each other and explore their attraction and came into their own. A.D. Ellis thank you for this beautiful story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

He did a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own distinct voice and personality, making it easy to follow along and who is who. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures the character’s emotions as well as their passion and projects it in to his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fabulous listen 🎧

Sweet, amazing, and absolutely worth it!

Hearts Ablaze (Forged In The City Book 1) is an absolutely amazing story about two men from troubled backgrounds finding themselves and each other in a time when they needed it the most. I loved how Xan and Chase, both who came from bad backgrounds and broken homes, discovered their sexuality and were comfortable enough with each other to walk that road together. They overcame obstacles, stood by each other and, with the help of their friends, found something they both were missing.

Bob Brill, as the narrator, was amazing!! He did wonderfully with the voices of each character and I could envision the differences and personality by each one.

Friends to lovers, bi awakening

This was a great friends to lovers audiobook! Chase comes to Indiana to visit his aunt. While there he finds out he has a little sister. He decides to stick around so he can be close to her. Xan had a tough childhood. He made choices that end up coming back to haunt him. They meet each other at a park and can’t stop thinking about each other. They become fast friends. And they start feeling more for each other. Then one day they kiss and that’s all it takes. I really liked how their relationship progressed. It was insta love but it was believable. Xan’s past comes calling and he doesn’t know what to do. I loved how all his friends rallied around him! The sex scenes and dirty talk is HOT! I really enjoyed this audiobook! Bob Brill did a good job with the narration.

Fantastic!

This is a new to me narrator and I have to say I love him. He brought a book to life that I loved already and made it even more real to me.
Love this book and author so much and will be diving into the next one asap. Love this!
