Why does the narrator give hollander’s parents a southern accent?? Totally weird. Took me out of the moment completely.

Love the story and everything about it. The narrator was fine for most of it, but I couldn't get over how he made Ilya sound like Dracula 🤣 also, some of the pronunciation was off, like "Regina" was slightly annoying. Overall very good!!

Spectacular

I love the story of these two men falling in love over the course of many years. From hormone driven youth to mature hockey stars finding their way to a shared truth. Brilliantly written.

I am completely hooked on this book series. I started listening to this book and I did not want to stop.

The narrator's voice is great, but there were a few issues with this narration. First, he doesn't know how to pronounce 'toque' which was annoying considering this is a book from a Canadian author. The other annoyance was giving Shane's parents a Southern accent. They are Canadian, and not Americans; we don't sound this way. Thank you.
