Binge-worthy and ridiculously thoughtful
It's so refreshing to think about fatherhood specifically when thinking about parenting generally. Stephen is no regular podcaster working on the fly. Each episode feels like a personal essay in its flow. It's written as a story and not a litany of facts, peppered with personal experience to keep it engaging. All the scariest topics- porn, cellphones, post-baby sex, time-spent etc. etc. are covered in ways that freaked me out then somehow reassured me that there were answers and solutions somewhere out there and that my kid, husband and myself are living through fantastic, messy and awkward times.
Totally the best podcast I've listened to in forever, what can I say...

It saved my relationship!!!!!!!
This book came to my email on a day that I was fighting with my boyfriend, like we do all the time!!! I wanted to stop this. I love him and he does love me too, so I prayed for wisdom and this came to me.

Must Listen
If you would like small but flavourful chunks about how marriage works, how others have gone through it, what worked and what didn’t, I strongly recommend you listen to this podcast. I took so many nuggets of wisdom from this. It made me laugh, made me cry and made me want to work my ass off to make my marriage better. It was so good because of the host, the people who allowed us into their worlds, and the bare honesty of how marriages work. Can’t wait for the next installment of How Not to F$&@ Up another thing.

must listen
I have been divorced after marriage 4 months into a relationship. I have called off a wedding after proposing 5 years into a relationship which ended the relationship. I am in love again and moving in a path that looks great. This was a great listen and is definitely bringing some talking points to the table before I move in with my next "forever" person. 🤞❤

Just awesomely addictive
I liked every topic that you spoke about it’s relevant in a marriage and I have to say that this podcast has been a life saver for my marriage as well as an eye opener for my kids. I also listened to the whole podcast of “ how not to fuck up your kids” & that blew me away ! Keep making them and I will always be a fan! Thank you!

Not as advertised
This series is not what the title suggests. It is mainly an examination of non traditional lifestyles.

Good information nicely delivered.
I really liked this series. For me, in the context of a contented 30+ yr marriage, I learned a thing or two! And HA!, several things we already practice turn out to be good planning on our part. I'd recommend this to anyone in or thinking about a marriage. Or anyone who knows somebody who is married. The format and performance are listenable and the content is sometimes witty, sometimes heartbreaking, and always relevant.
