Story
How many self-help books are written by authors whose biggest success is selling self-help books? Three Simple Steps is different. Despite stock market crashes, dot-com busts, and the specter of recession, the author started a virtual company from home, using a few thousand dollars of his savings. A few years later, without ever hiring an employee or leaving his home office, he sold it for more than $100 million. As the economy slipped into another free fall, he did this again with a company in a different field. He accomplished this through no particular genius.

Story
Every new project (or job, or hobby, or company) starts out exciting and fun. Then it gets harder and less fun, until it hits a low point: really hard, and not much fun at all. And then you find yourself asking if the goal is even worth the hassle. Maybe you're in a Dip: a temporary setback that you will overcome if you keep pushing. But maybe it's really a Cul-de-Sac, which will never get better, no matter how hard you try.

Short yes, but I've gained a few things from it:)
*I paid $7CAD* -It was short yes, but I wanted more! -I did gain life lasting help from it and I listened to it twice, which makes it worth my $7 spent. ~I liked the 1950's style Leave it to Beaver style reading:) + If you're in any business of any kind and can find even 1 thing useful from this 2hr listen, then it was worth it. - I feel like anything more then $7 for this is too much money, even a bit less.

Great content! But disappointed in no Mark!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, As others have said... worth the 2 hrs of listen for the unique perspective, despite the narration.
How could the performance have been better?
This book would have been so MUCH better for me if Mark had actually taken the time to narrate his own content. That really was the bummer of this audiobook. It was very hard to listen to the narrater over enunciate every sentence and be imaging how Mr. Cuban would be telling his own stories.
